This past summer we threw my cousin a baby shower for her first child. Elephants were the theme of the party, so we called in the troops (aka #pinterest) and came up with all our best ideas to turn this dream into a reality!
You might recall the purple elephants from my DIY Minky Baby Blanket tutorial, I tried to stick to the theme in my gift too!
We started with favors. There were a few different designs we were picking between, we couldn't decide if we just wanted the words, just the elephant, or both. In the end, we really liked the way it tied everything together when we had both. You can see for yourself below!
Next we were working with center pieces. My aunt who was planning this party already had vases and flowers to fill the vases, she just wanted us to create something to incorporate the elephants. We ended up creating some elephant's on a stick to add into the bouquets.
Of course you can't have a party with out #banners, so next I'll walk you through my favorite part of #Partyplanning. The first banner below is my favorite, The Onesie Banner. I love this banner, not only because it's so cute, but because I love the little clothes pins that tie it all together so it actually looks like a clothesline. We hung this banner over the bar.
The next banner was also a favorite, I love the accent of the polka dots next to the purple to add a little spice to it! I'm also a huge sucker for a scalloped edge, I think it's so feminine and cute! We ended up hanging this over the presents.
The final banner I created was one we could use in any space we felt we needed extra decor. It was pretty simple, elephants and polka dots! It was super simple and easy to make!
Below you can find a collection of photos from the day of the shower. It turned out to be beautiful! I always love helping to plan parties so I can come up with cute designs!
If you ever have a party you'd like help brainstorming decor for, or would like to purchase some decor from us we would be happy to work with you! Feel free to send us a message! We're always open to talking with you!
In the meantime, thanks for reading!
