I found these pom pom makers on Amazon and had to try one for myself. I chose to buy the below set since it offered different sizes. When you first look at these, it might be hard to figure out how to work them so I wrote a little how to below. Check it out!
Start by wrapping your yarn evenly around the maker.
Continue to wrap wool evenly around the other side of the maker. The more layers you add, the more dense your pom pom will be!
Once your maker is completely covered in yarn, close your maker to close the circle.
Grab some scissors and cut through the middle of the yarn.
Tie a knot tightly around the middle of your pom pom with a single piece of yarn.
Open the maker toward both sides to un-clip the maker and release the pom pom.
Trim and pieces of yarn that are too long.
Enjoy your new pom pom! You can use it as a single pom pom or create more and use it in a banner!
If you tried this for yourself feel free to share your creations with me, I'd love to see you pom pom and the creative things you all are using them for!
Thanks for reading!
